Guided Tours
There is no requirement to pay for an Explore Lodi walking tour, though donations are gratefully received. Depending on the Explore Lodi guided tour that you choose, you'll discover:
Note: Explore Lodi tours take place in public buildings and on public streets and hiking trails. Tour participants will be required to sign a waiver before the tour begins. Every attendee assumes their own responsibility for navigating features such as uneven sidewalks, traffic, wildlife and interactions with other members of the public.

Guided Walking Tour #1
Lodi History: 1869 - Prohibition - WWII
Meeting Place: Take a seat inside Lodi’s historic train depot at 24 S. Sacramento Street in Lodi. Restrooms on site.
Parking: Free parking in the depot lot or garage parking with Level 2 EV charging at 2 N. Sacramento St, Lodi, CA 95240. A bike rack is available at the depot.
Tour Length: 2 hours, less than 1 mile, mostly level pavement with curbs.
Description: A general tour of Lodi’s Wild West history.
Tips: Wear appropriate clothing and sunscreen, bring water.
Guided Walking Tour #2
Lodi Lake: Aunt Estella Spills the Beans
Meeting Place: Meet inside beautiful Lodi Lake Park. Walk inside the Nature Area gate and take a seat in the Redwood Amphitheater.
Parking: Park free in a nearby neighborhood or pay to park at the Nature Area or the playground. https://www.lodi.gov/348/Lodi-Lake
Tour Length: 1.25 hours, less than a half-mile, mostly level packed dirt and pavement.
Description: A 15-minute costumed re-enactment of farmer Estella Smith, owner of Lodi Lake 1902-1937, followed by a 1-hour guided tour of the Nature Area “through pioneer eyes.”
Tips: Wear appropriate clothing and sunscreen, bring water and bug spray.
