Meeting Place: Take a seat inside the historic train depot at 24 S. Sacramento Street in Lodi. Restrooms on site.

Tour Length: 2 hours, less than 1 mile, mostly level pavement with curbs.

Description: A general tour of Lodi’s history. Includes mention of many of our most interesting female residents.

Tips: Please re-confirm your attendance 24-48 hours before the tour start time. Wear appropriate clothing and sunscreen, bring water.

Note: Explore Lodi tours take place in public buildings and on public streets. Tour participants will be required to sign a waiver before the tour begins. Every attendee assumes their own responsibility for navigating features such as uneven sidewalks, traffic, and interactions with other members of the public.

When will I definitely be booked for the tour?

Not until you re-confirm close to the tour date. You’ll receive an email near the tour date and must respond affirmatively 24-48 hours before the free tour to re-confirm that you will be at the meeting place and ready to go at the agreed-upon time.

What do I need to know about the meeting place?

Lodi’s historic railroad depot at 24 S Sacramento St has free parking and restrooms. You can also park in the garage a half-block north of the depot, right at Lodi’s famous Mission Arch. Meet your tour guide inside the depot.

What happens if the weather doesn’t cooperate?

Please check this website for “Hourly Weather in Lodi, CA” 24 hours before the tour. If the tour start time’s chance of rain is predicted to be 50% or greater, the tour will likely be cancelled. You can confirm weather-related tour status by emailing Tours@ExploreLodi.org.
