Enjoy the Beauty of the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta
Cosumnes River Preserve
The Cosumnes River Preserve at 13501 Franklin Blvd. Galt, CA 95632 has a Visitor Center, accessible paths and boardwalks, and a kayak launch. The Cosumnes River is California’s last undammed river flowing down from the Sierra Nevada range. You may see beavers, deer, coyotes, and other mammals and you will certainly see birds, insects, and wildflowers, Whether you come during the winter to see thousands of migratory waterbirds or during warm weather to visit the year-round grasslands residents, you'll see the Delta’s ebb and flow the way it used to be.
